Doug is a highly experienced advisor and business leader who has 28 years of board level experience in small and mid-sized UK and international businesses, including 20 years as MD/CEO. Doug has deep knowledge of the travel, services, outsourcing, and software sectors, and has extensive business transformation, growth, and M&A experience.

Doug has worked extensively for both listed and private equity owned companies, in multiple international territories, bringing financial acumen to the general management roles he has undertaken. He is a strong advocate of the view that ultimate business financial success is magnified by both strong customer understanding and colleague engagement. Doug has an established understanding of the Human Capital sector and the key issues affecting organisations today.

Doug is a B.Acc. graduate of Glasgow University, and is a CA, having completed his training with Price Waterhouse (now PwC). Doug held several roles in finance prior to his more general business management and advisory experience.
