Supported by Innovate UK and backed by a major UK recycling industry partner, Fab Materials’ patented process diverts mixed textile waste from costly incineration and transforms it into a drop-in alternative to virgin timber in fibre-board production.
Fab Materials’ sustainable feedstock costs less than half the price of the traditional wood fibre that is currently used, presenting a compelling economic and environmental value proposition for board manufacturers.
With textile waste volumes and deforestation increasing worldwide, Fab Materials is positioned to deliver a high-impact, scaleable solution that addresses critical environmental challenges while tapping into a significant and growing global market opportunity.
