We’re excited and proud to champion our Female Founders this month, highlighting their successes and talent in recognition of International Women’s Day on 8th March.

We’re delighted to be celebrating female entrepreneurship with a Female Founders Investment Opportunities Virtual Pitch Event, at 3pm on Tuesday 24th March, hosted by our Consumer Partner, Sharon O’Connor.

Championing our female founders has never been so important, as we see the continuing challenges of an investment landscape that remains starkly uneven. We see women launching innovative, high-growth ventures across industries, but securing capital at scale is still a persistent challenge.

A combination of structural biases, limited access to investor networks and entrenched funding norms means that women continue to receive only a fraction of the venture capital flowing into startups globally – it sits stubbornly at around the 2% mark of total investment, despite the growing body of research that female-led startups outperform their male counterparts on key metrics, including revenue generation and profitability.

Bucking the trend, PACP is proud of our track record of success with Female Founders, which typically sees over 30% of our successful fundraising going to female founder clients.

We’re also delighted to be growing our extensive network of female investors, who play an increasingly important role in broadening the flow of capital to underrepresented founders that have historically been overlooked.
