We are delighted to have taken part in a fundraise for North-East based impact sensor developer HP1 Technologies.
Although originally designed to help identify the scope and scale of traumatic brain injuries caused by cycling accidents, several further potential applications have since emerged within other helmet sports as well as the military, emergency services and industrial environments.
HP1T CEO Mike Howes said: “We invited Prime Advantage to take part in the third round raise they were able to secure an investor very quickly.”
Paul Sowerby, Prime Advantage Partner added: “The North of England is brimming with disruptive entrepreneurs and their brave new ideas. Having our new permanent base in the region means Prime Advantage can leverage off its experience and network to make a major contribution to the continuing development of the northern powerhouse and its economy. We’re all grappling with some unfamiliar ways of working and a lot of uncertainty about life ‘on the other side’ and yet once again teams like HP1T have proved that passion, self-belief and traditional entrepreneurial spirit, can win the day.”
