We’re delighted and incredibly proud to have recently been awarded Best Sector Specialist SME Corporate Advisory Firm 2025 by Greater London Enterprise Magazine.
Now in its ninth edition, this prestigious programme continues to celebrate the outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs driving growth, innovation and excellence across the Greater London region.
The award recognises our evolving and impactful approach to supporting founders and businesses in increasingly challenging economic climates; our approach centres on the founders’ success, beginning with advisory and mentoring support that evolves into more strategic contributions, including growth funding.
This founder-first philosophy proves particularly effective with female founders and an area where we excel and buck the trend, with half our partners being women and over 40% of our investment raise in 2024 being for female founders.
We’re delighted to be recognised for distinguishing ourselves in the SME corporate advisory space, through our team of multi-disciplinary industry experts who have successfully started, grown and exited their own businesses. Unlike generalists, our partners bring extensive personal experience in strategy development, business growth, capital raising, acquisitions and succession planning.
Founded in 2014 by industry veterans Greg Tufnell and Brian Farrugia, PACP emerged from a realisation that founders of small or medium sized businesses often lack adequate support and quality advice to succeed. The firm was established to bridge this gap by providing peer to peer guidance from specialists who had themselves built and grown flourishing businesses.
Commenting about the award, Greg stated:
“Our original thesis was that SMEs and their founders in the UK were not being well-served by traditional forms of advice, nor by their investors, despite claims of having necessary expertise. Nor could these businesses afford the high costs of traditional, large corporate advisory firms. Twelve years later, our thesis has been proved right – as we are still here!”
Highlighting PACP’s unique position, Greg commented:
“In a market that tends to split into consultancy or corporate finance, Prime Advantage Capital Partners brings both the ability to grow a business and fund its growth.”
Looking ahead, 2025 promises more evolvement of the business, with significant developments planned including launching our own angel investor network platform, while adding new service lines including sourcing investing directors for early-stage founders and exploring new partnerships in the United States.
Greg and Brian would like to thank the PACP partners, clients, strategic alliances and investors for their support in helping to achieve this recognition.
