Future of Work and Property Partner, David Boddy, has supported PAWD, the high-margin, D2C-focussed pet supplements brand, complete a £700k seed funding round, with backing from leading angels.

CONSUMER PARTNER PIPPA BAZALGETTE ATTENDS BGF FUTURE CHAIRS PROGRAMME: FEMALE LEADERS EDITION

Our Consumer Partner, Pippa Bazalgette, recently attended the BGF Future Chairs Programme: Female Leaders Edition – a two-day, invite-only programme hosted at BGF’s London offices for senior female executives preparing to step into Non-Executive Chair roles.

Bringing together a select cohort of leaders with deep experience in growth and PE-backed businesses, the programme offered a valuable opportunity to sharpen thinking around board governance, value creation and exit dynamics – seen through the lens of the Chair role specifically.

The programme was hosted by an experienced group of BGF investors and experienced Chairs, reinforcing what is already a strong pipeline of senior female talent ready to lead at board level.

PACP HOST FEMALE FOUNDERS WORKSHOP ON RESILIENCE

Partners Pippa Bazalgette, Hanim Dogan and Sharon O’Connor recently hosted the first of a series of Female Founders Virtual Workshops, with this one focussing on the theme of “Resilience“.

The interactive session gave an opportunity to hear from a range of founders about overcoming the challenges faced daily as entrepreneurs.

Many thanks to the attendees for their honest input on discussions around resilience and their own very personal experiences as female founders.

Sharing experiences and identifying tools to support is so important. We look forward to sharing more at future events focussed on other topics and themes that resonate as a Female Founder, alongside a Mentorship Programme that offers tailored one-to-one sessions with out experienced partners.
